We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales & Events Coordinator for our unique venue, Kasteel Oost. In this multifaceted role, you’ll guide guests from their initial inquiry through to a successful event. From dream weddings and cozy dinners to business gatherings and special events: you’ll ensure that every event is perfectly organized and leaves a lasting impression.

From our fine dining restaurant Mon Rêve, an attractive hotel, wedding and event venue, and soon a beauty salon and wellness: everything here revolves around creating a complete and special experience.

About this position

As Sales & Events Coordinator, you’ll be the trusted point of contact for guests who want to organize their event at Kasteel Oost. From the initial contact through to the day of the event, you’ll oversee the entire process. You’ll provide advice, prepare quotes, schedule meetings, and ensure that all parties involved know exactly what needs to be done.

No two days are the same. One day you’re discussing a bride and groom’s wishes, and the next you’re planning a corporate event or welcoming guests for a tour of the castle. Behind the scenes, you keep track of everything, monitor the schedule, and coordinate with colleagues and vendors. During events, you’re often there in person to ensure that everything runs smoothly down to the last detail.

Profile

  • Processing requests for weddings, events, parties, dinners, and business gatherings.
  • Contribute ideas for new packages, concepts, and activities that contribute to the venue's growth.
  • Advising guests on the options available
  • Preparing, tracking, and managing quotes and reservations.
  • Organizing and facilitating site visits and introductory meetings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests throughout the entire process.
  • Coordinate the preparation of events in collaboration with internal departments and external vendors.
  • Identifying commercial opportunities and actively contributing to the achievement of sales goals.
  • Monitoring quality, scheduling, and the guest experience.
  • Be present at events to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Who are you?

  • You have experience in sales, event planning, hospitality, or a similar role.
  • You have a business-oriented mindset and enjoy building relationships and advising guests.
  • You are hospitable, presentable, and a strong communicator.
  • You're good at planning, organizing, and setting priorities.
  • You work with precision and maintain a clear overview, even when things get busy.
  • You take the initiative and identify opportunities to improve both the guest experience and results.
  • You are flexible in terms of your availability, and working evenings and weekends for events is not a problem.
  • You have an interest in the hospitality industry, events, and weddings.
  • You have an excellent command of Dutch; knowledge of German and/or English is a plus.
