Op zondag 29 november 2026 wordt Kasteel Oost omgetoverd tot een écht Sinterklaaskasteel voor alle kindjes. Ontdek samen alle bijzondere kamers van het kasteel, ga op speurtocht door de kasteeltuinen, dans mee in de Pietendisco en verzamel stempels voor jouw eigen Pietendiploma.
En het allermooiste? Je ontmoet Sinterklaas persoonlijk én kunt zijn paard Ozosnel bewonderen!

They’ve gone all out at Kasteel Oost! With a stamp card in hand, the kids set off on an adventure. A new surprise awaits behind every door, and at various spots, they help the Pieten with creative tasks.

A Day Full of St. Nicholas Activities
Visit St. Nicholas’s office
Take a look inside St. Nicholas’s special office. Here you’ll find his letters, the Big Book, and, of course, lots of presents. Maybe St. Nicholas himself is sitting at his desk! You’ll have the chance to meet him in person and take a nice photo together.
Put your shoe by the fireplace
In the round room, you’ll find a special spot for your homemade shoe. Bring your shoe from home and place it by the fireplace, among the gifts and the helpers’ bags. Download the shoe here.
Come dance at the Pietendisco
Time to show off those dance moves! At the Oosthoeve, they’re playing the best Sinterklaas songs, and you can dance and play games with the Pieten. Do you know the Piet dance yet?
Go on a scavenger hunt through the castle gardens
There’s plenty to discover outside, too. During a fun scavenger hunt through the castle gardens, you’ll search for hidden clues and complete challenges. Look around carefully, because the Pieten have hidden surprises everywhere!

Meet the Pieten, Sinterklaas, and Ozosnel
Rond 14:00 uur verzamelen we met z’n alle op het kasteelplein om Sinterklaas, zijn Pieten en Ozosnel te verwelkomen.
Als Sinterklaas plaats heeft genomen in zijn werkkamer kunnen alle kinderen hem persoonlijk vertellen wat erop hun verlanglijstje staat.
Dit is hét moment voor een foto en voor het geven van jouw mooiste tekening.

Around 2:00 p.m., we’ll all gather at the castle square to welcome Sinterklaas, his Pieten, and Ozosnel.
Once Sinterklaas has taken his seat in his office, all the children can tell him in person what’s on their wish list.
This is the perfect moment to take a photo and give him your best drawing.

Enjoy a freshly baked waffle with powdered sugar, chocolate sauce, or whipped cream. Prefer something warm to drink? We also have hot chocolate, coffee, and tea. For the kids, we offer lemonade and other beverages.
Food and drinks are not included in the ticket price and can be purchased separately.
