About this position
As an Event Coordinator (intern), you will rotate fully into the event team at Kasteel Oost. You will support the organization and execution of a variety of events, with a major focus on weddings during the busy summer months.
You do not get a "spectator internship" with us. If you show that you are willing and able, you will be given more and more responsibility and will be allowed to work independently on the organization of events. This includes practical work on the floor, from setting up and dismantling to solving last-minute challenges. And yes: sometimes that includes lugging or a practical job. We do this together.
Profile
Assist in the preparation, organization and execution of events and weddings
Liaise with suppliers, colleagues and guests
Collaborate on event planning, set-up and scripts
Being present during events and making sure everything runs smoothly
Spotting and solving problems on site
Collaborate on the floor both organizationally and practically
Who are you?
- You are pursuing a college or university degree and are looking for a cooperative internship
(not a graduate or research internship) - You are available full-time (5 days per week)
- You are flexible, including evenings, weekends, holidays and vacations
- You can work independently, take initiative and are a real go-getter
- You enjoy being given responsibility and experiencing events from A to Z
- You have no problem with physical work and enjoy rolling up your sleeves

Period
The internship period is from February/March through June/July, but other periods are negotiable.
