About this position

As Restaurant Supervisor at Mon Rêve you are an important link in the daily operations and the guest experience of our restaurant. You actively work on the floor, manage the team and make sure that everything is right from reception to serving dishes to the last glass of wine.

You ensure that service and kitchen are perfectly aligned and that every dish is served at the right time, in the right way.

Together with the team, you will take our guests' experience to the next level.

What will you do?

  • Checkout and handle payments with accuracy and friendliness.
  • Managing and supervising the team
  • Coordinate daily operation on the floor
  • Manage deployable staff hours efficiently
  • Ensuring smooth cooperation between service and kitchen
  • Actively participate during reception, serving & advising
  • Advising guests on dishes and matching wines
  • Monitor quality, timing and presentation
  • Responding to guests' needs and providing a personalized experience
  • Thinking along to improve service and guest experience
  • Participate in and develop wine and food pairings
  • Maintain a clean and organized work space

You

  • A master's degree is a plus
  • Have (Minimum of 2 years) experience in a similar position within the Fine Dining or high-end hospitality industry
  • Are a natural leader in the workplace
  • Have knowledge of wine and food; a sommelier/wine degree is a plus
  • Possess strong communication skills and a guest-oriented attitude
  • Are Stress Resistant and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Are flexible to work, including evenings and weekends/holidays
  • Has passion for culinary perfection and a keen eye for detail
  • Are a team player who enjoys achieving success together
  • At least 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Someone who can run his/her station independently.
  • Structured, stress resistant and loves good teamwork.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and hygiene.
  • Passion for cooking, and desire to grow in a close-knit team.
